Lord Jesus, in a world grown cold and indifferent, you draw all people to your heart.
Where there is hatred and violence, you offer reconciliation and love.
Where there is conflict and division, you offer unity and peace.

Today, Lord, we turn to you in praise and thanksgiving.
Each of us hands himself over to you and to the One who sent you.
We ask you to bless our offering and send us into the world.

Make our community a sign of the love which is better than life.
Make our ministry an action of the Spirit whom we wish to welcome today.
Make our love and reparation bear witness to the harmony divine grace makes possible.  Amen.

Reparation Prayer from "This Day of God," community prayer book of the Priests of the Sacred Heart
